About Us

About Appleyards Homewares

Welcome to Appleyards Homewares, our independent homewares and gift store in the heart of Albany, Western Australia.

We’re a local, family-run business with a simple philosophy: fill the shop with things we genuinely like, things that are useful, things that make a home feel special, and occasionally something you never knew you needed until you spotted it on the shelf.

Our range is always changing, which is part of the fun. You’ll find kitchen and cookware, homewares, gifts, Albany keepsakes, seasonal collections and products from Australian and international brands, all selected with our customers in mind.

Meet the People Behind Appleyards

We’re Nicole and Scott, the people behind Appleyards.

Appleyards is very much a hands-on business for us. Between us, and with the help of our wonderful team, there’s always something happening, from choosing new ranges and unpacking deliveries to rearranging displays, helping customers and packing orders heading to homes around Australia.

We wanted Appleyards to be the sort of shop we enjoy visiting ourselves: welcoming, interesting and filled with things worth stopping to look at. Somewhere you can come in looking for one thing and quite happily leave with three completely different things instead.

Meet Our Team

Meet Bonnie, Leanne and Sarah, part of the wonderful team behind Appleyards.

Our team is a big part of what makes the shop what it is. Whether you need help finding a gift, tracking down something for the kitchen or just want to have a browse, there’s always a real person here to help.

What You’ll Find at Appleyards

Our shelves are filled with a constantly changing mix of kitchenware, cookware, tableware, homewares, gifts, Albany and Great Southern keepsakes, seasonal pieces and those unexpected finds that make browsing half the fun.

We look for products that balance quality, practicality, design and value, while leaving plenty of room for pieces with a little personality.

From Albany to Your Door

Our home is here in Albany, but our online store means you can shop Appleyards from anywhere in Australia.

When you place an online order, it doesn’t disappear into a giant warehouse system. Your order comes through to our Albany store, where our team picks it from the shelves, packs it and prepares it for its journey to you.

If you’re nearby, we’d love to see you in person. We’re open seven days a week, with free Click & Collect and eligible free local delivery also available.

Stay in Touch

There’s nearly always something changing at Appleyards. Follow us on social media or sign up to our email updates for new arrivals, seasonal collections, special offers and a peek at what’s happening in store.

We’d love to welcome you, whether you’re just around the corner or shopping with us from the other side of Australia.
